I’m so excited!! The Christmas season is almost here! One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is baking, and my husband and I love making sweet treats. For years we have made toffee and fudge for family and friends during the holiday season. It can be hard work, but it is so fun to see the look on their faces when we give them as gifts.
Now that my kids are older, they want to help make the sweet treats too. So we have expanded our culinary skills to include cookies, bark treats and more. And because I love Christmas so much, I decided to do some more research for sweet treats and candy to make this year with the kids.
There are so many options for holiday treats, but I wanted some that weren’t too hard to make, took only a few ingredients and that my kids would love. Let me tell you…that isn’t the easiest feat. But I think I’ve found a solid list for this year. Or at least a list we can work from to make our own.
If you are looking for a fun dish that your kids can help you make, or you are looking for a unique gift idea for someone on your list, you can’t go wrong with homemade Christmas candy! These Christmas candy recipes are all really easy to make, and they also make great gifts! No matter how much time you have, you won’t regret making one of these treats.
Make any of these sweet candy treats with your kids this holiday season!
