Every time October rolls around my kids know that the holiday season is coming. We love the holidays so much. In our homeschool, there are some typical topics we do every year. Early October is always Fire Safety/Fire Prevention Week. This is the time we gather all the fire prevention and safety resources we can and spend the week learning how we can prepare in our home.
National Fire Prevention Week is October 6-12. Every year there is a different theme and focus. This year the theme is recognizing everyday people who motivate their households to develop and practice a home fire escape plan.
Some basic behaviors we choose to make can have a life-saving impact on our family’s reactions to emergencies. There are some important facts we should be teaching our children to equip them with the knowledge they need to prevent fires and to stay safe. Highlighting fire safety and preparedness can be easily taught
By learning and practicing fire safety and preparedness we highlight skills that our kids can take with them for the rest of their lives. Why search the whole internet when you can just drop by here and grab all you can for a full week of fun learning of fire prevention and safety.
