Are you reluctant to teach fractions in your homeschool students? Need a great introduction to fractions which will make teaching it easier? These FREE equal sharing task cards can help.

Free Equal Sharing Task Cards (in 3 Levels!)

An excellent introduction to fractions is something called equal sharing. In equal sharing, kids understand the concept of dividing a whole or a group of objects. Kids learn how to divide parts to distribute items equally. The best part of this process is that your students are visually seeing how these equal parts are divided.

They see how items start off as a whole and are divided into parts to eventually be able to teach fractions. I was taught fractions mostly by worksheets with pictures.

I don’t quite understanding that a fraction was first a whole and fractions are just parts of that whole. When kids learn equal sharing, they are able to understand that concept even before they know what a fraction is.

Let these FREE task cards help you teach equal sharing in homeschool shared by The Measured Mom.
