If you haven’t had cookie bars, you’re missing out! I love them for so many reasons. One, they are super easy to make. Two, they seem to last a bit longer than cookies at my house. And three, there are so many quick and easy recipes you can make your own!
The other nice thing about cookie bars is that the base only requires a few ingredients. After that, you can add in all the extras you want. From chocolate chips to coconut to sprinkles and more. You can combine just about anything you want to make whatever flavor concoction you can dream.
Cookie bars are also a perfect dessert to get your kids involved in baking. Being an easier recipe, cookie bars are also the perfect starter recipe. Let them choose a few of their own special ingredients and each kid can make their own cookie bar recipe. If you make them all at the same time, you could do a fun taste test to see which ones they like the best.
Cookie bars are another dessert that’s perfect for taking to family events or a church potluck. You can easily make a large batch and they all bake in one pan. The other bonus is that you can cut them to any size that you want, which gives way to small or large crowds!
Cookie Bars are the perfect addition to any family gathering or church potluck. Check out these delicious recipes!
