One of my favorite things to teach my early learning students was all about weather. It is something that affects them daily. They can relate to the weather. I made it part of our daily routine to state what the weather was like for the day. Learning about weather is fun for young learners. These fun weather activities will be a hit with your kiddos.

Fun Weather Activities for Kids

I always had a weatherboard set for my early learners in the center where I worked years ago. Of course, there was color, blue skies and Velcro animations of different weather types so that children can determine the weather for the day.

I really enjoyed the interactive time with the kids and so did they.

I just found out that my best friend’s child wants to be a weather person! How cool is that? Exposing kids to the weather is useful for them in life and as part of their education.
