My kids are fascinated by how the body works. They think it is super cool that our bodies are held together by a skeleton. We are all in the process of trying to eat better in our diet and exercise together at least twice a week. I love intertwining this new journey with our Human Body Unit. I just hope we keep it up long after the lessons are over.
We use different teaching methods at home that range from videos to worksheets. My kids especially love hands-on activities that get them involved in the how-tos of the lesson. These activities are perfect for young learners so that they may start to understand all the basics of the human body function.
These activities are broken up for you in various categories for the sake of ease. I love convenience, don’t you?!
I also listed below some other resources I am using in our Human Body unit in homeschool. Enjoy!
