I see all types of articles for us to declutter our homes. Maybe it isn’t only us that needs the decluttering. It is OUR kids! We do all we can about our kids’ rooms or make a schedule for them to clean it weekly. However, usually, that just doesn’t cut it. Learn these real-life tips to control kid clutter in your home.
It seems like no matter how much our children’s bedrooms or playrooms get cleaned, they just seem to gather “stuff” — our house gathers their “stuff”.
How can we fix it, realistically? Just like we can take steps to declutter homes and living areas, we can take similar steps to make sure these rooms get decluttered as well.
I am just being real with you. My son is like a tornado. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why he can’t keep his room clean. It is like he goes in there and boom, an earthquake hit. Because I am so fed up, I just leave it as is. Weeks go by and when I have had enough, it’s not good. He gets frustrated, I get frustrated, his dad gets in it and he gets a lecture.
I really would like to end this cycle, somewhat. Join me in trying to do something about this kid clutter.
