Is Life Science on your schedule this homeschool year? Life Science is concerned with the natural science of studying life and living organisms. Your children have amazing curiosity. Life Science is a wonderful subject to feed that inquisitive spirit in your children. This FREE Life Science lapbook will help your children learn about and explore the incredible phenomenon of living things.

Teach Life Science with Lapbooks

Lapbooks are a great resource to encourage students to learn about the world around them in your homeschool. Lapbooks are interactive, adaptable, multi-age, simple and as detailed or simple as you want to make them.

Creating a lapbook for Life Science with a collection of mini-books, foldables, drawings, and other interactive items help kids record what they have learned and really helps them retain information.

When creating lapbooks you will usually need:

  • manilla folders
  • crayons or colored pencils
  • glue, stickers
  • anything to decorate the folder

Being that lapbooks get away from the normal textbook and testing model, kids tend to be more engaged and more motivated to complete it.

Good science resources can be hard to find. Check out these Apologia resources to see if it fits your homeschool style:
