I soo prefer teaching about insect than actually seeing them. We can use printables and learn about insects all day, yet seeing them is just something I will never get used to. You can teach all about insects in your home with these preschool insect theme printables for preschoolers.

Not only can they continue their natural curiosity for exploring, but they can use the printable as a guide to learn even more about these pesky creations.

Island living (like my family is doing right now) lends itself well to homeschool lessons about bugs. Basically, insects are everywhere here.

Take some time with your kiddos to enjoy God’s creation this summer, and yes, even enjoy the magnificent design of the most simple of insects.

In this Insect Theme Printable, your student will learn:

  • How to identify various insects
  • How to create thoughts and/or stories about what they’ve learned from their insect viewing
  • Learn the parts of an insect
  • Drawing activities
  • Writing Prompts
  • and so much more.
