A morning basket is full of a variety of items to begin the day with precious things your kids will love. Many people fill their baskets with various books, quiet play activities, or some simple games.

Sometimes mornings are not the most ideal. They can really start off pretty chaotic. Mom this, Mom that. Even if you do the very best you can in the morning – read the bible, kiss your spouse good morning, turn on the kettle — it may not be the best morning for everyone else in the family. Kids can wake up on the other side of the bed, which is not good for the rest of the kids.

What throws a whole other dynamic in the mix is if your children range in ages from really young to teens. You could use tools and resources to bring them all together. Using a creative combination of age-appropriate items in the morning basket will do a world of good to keep your children working together. It can create a calm for your children in the morning.
