Dr. Scott Hardin, the author of Science Shepherd Homeschool Curriculum, began his pursuit of medicine believing in evolution; that the secular stories told about the origin of life were true. During his time in medical school, however, he began to question the naturalistic mechanisms that were supposed to be responsible for evolution. Instead of scientific discussion, he was met with philosophical dogma. As a result, and by the grace of God, he began to understand the reality of Biblical Creation.
In this free lecture from Science Shepherd, “If Evolution Predicts, Why Isn’t It So?”, Dr. Hardin presents a practical overview of some of the hypotheses of evolution. Evolutionary predictions in the fields of genetics, astrophysics, and others are unpacked to see if they are consistent with observed science. By critically analyzing these issues, it is shown, as Dr. Hardin discovered, that the evolutionary explanation for the origin of life is just a story.
