Why do you want Free Learning Printables this summer?
I love a nice break from intense school work during the summer! But I think it’s important to keep some learning activities handy for these reasons:
- It’s great to give our kids fun, educational quiet activities to do on a hot summer day.
- We want to keep our academic skills fresh so we aren’t back-tracking and starting over once the school year begins again.
- Summer is a perfect time to take advantage of extra down time to spend in the Word with our kids.

Of course we are reading lots of books this summer. (Get our huge recommended book list here.)
Overall, while we let down and have a refreshing summer break, we also try to be intentional with our time so that we’re making the most of our downtime.
