To the mom who hates messes, these art projects are for you. Do you remember making origami art as a kid? Origami is a super fun art project for your kids without making all the huge mess other art projects can make.

We made them once in my public school and it is one of the fun things I actually remember in school.

What is cool about this origami project is that your kids can make animals that are on the endangered or vulnerable species list.

You can use this origami art project alongside a unit study or lesson on endangered or vulnerable species.

Did you know several species of animals all over the world are listed as endangered? This means that the number of their population is so low that they are at risk of going extinct. A vulnerable species is one whose numbers are declining at a fast rate.

Some of the origami vulnerable endangered animals that your kids can make are:

  • Galapagos Penguin
  • Giant Panda
  • Blue Whale
  • And more…

These easy to make origami animals will be great for craft time in your homeschool from Green Kid Crafts.
