You may have noticed we have been creating a lot of posts on fun crafts for your kids lately. That is because it is summer time! In our house that means light schooling and lots and lots of crafts and creative freedom. If you are looking for some crafts to do with your family this summer you will love these DIY Suncatcher easy and colorful crafts for your kids.
We are always so busy during the school year that we really don’t have a lot of time for crafting. To be honest, I don’t have a lot of time for all the clean up that is involved after the fact. Crafting can be messy, but it sure is fun and it creates some amazing memories for you and your children together. I love simple and easy crafts that don’t require a lot of supplies. I especially like crafts that can use supplies that are found around your house with things that you may already have laying around.
One of my favorite crafts that I remember doing in summer camps when I was a little girl was creating suncatchers. We don’t have a lot of light that comes into our home, but we have one very large picture window that is the main source of light. My girls are always sticking things to this window, drawing on it, and hanging things up on it. It is the perfect window to hang up a DIY suncatcher. Suncatchers are super colorful and everyone loves them, they make great gifts and look pretty hanging up!
