There are roughly 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the visible universe (one hundred octillion stars) — give or take a few million. For us as Christians, that means so much more than just a beautiful night sky. Aren’t you curious to find out about the day God invited Abraham to do astronomy?
I for one am curious, but what I do know is that whenever I look up at the night sky full of stars and all His majesty, I think about how He, Creator of all things can love little ol’ me.
I wonder how He has every hair on my hair numbered. I remember the biblical story of Abraham. The name of Abraham means “exalted father”, but I see it differently than Him being old and not having children at such an old age. Abraham’s story and bloodline have surely EXALTED THE FATHER!
Here I am talking about his story today, learning about God’s Word looking up to where my help comes from. How GREAT is our God! Creation declares His glory!
