As a child, it was the best thing to eat a meal at a fast food restaurant. I had my favorites of course, but I loved going for the experience more than the food. My family would go to either the “salad bar” or the “fish place” every Sunday after church.
And with our busy sports schedules during the week, we often grabbed dinner where we could. So we frequented several fast food restaurants when necessary. But I was a fairly picky eater, so I had my favorite items at each restaurant and pretty much ate the same item every time.
Since I was a creature of habit, I love finding copycat recipes I can replicate at home. Not only is it usually cheaper, but sometimes they are even healthier! Plus you can have your favorites any time you want! The key is knowing what you can and can’t make at home.
Some recipes are better left in bulk while some convert easily to smaller portions. Here are twenty recipes I’ve found that would be perfect for any family night or just for a fun treat of a restaurant favorite!
