OK – look. I would kill plastic plants if I could — thank goodness plastic plants don’t die. Years ago, I went on this, “I am going to grow beautiful plants in my home” phase. That phase went as quickly as I thought it up. I literally, killed each one. Now, with some research, I will try one of these 5 types of plants you can grow in containers for your patio, and see how it goes.
I almost felt bad for them. The plants I tried went from beautiful green to death dirt brown in only weeks. Maybe it is because I never “talked” to them like people insist on or maybe I was just trying to grow the wrong plants.
The very last thing I tried was last year. I tried growing sunflowers because my friend had extra seeds and his sunflowers literally AMAZING. I planted the sunflower seeds all alongside my yard. You know something horrible is about to happen, don’t you?
BOOM! The very next week, the island where we live got hit by a Category 5 Cyclone that left us without power for 6 weeks! It also drowned my sunflower seeds.
That was super sad with all the work that I put into it. Yet, I will try to give these container plants a whirl.
My friend has completely grown herself a full-blown garden that is thriving — to say the least. She has motivated me to try out my green thumb, yet again. Pray for me people. I am going in!
