Kids love playing and building with building blocks. Using these toys can have great benefits for kids as well. Building with blocks is also a great activity for teaching creativity, independent learning, and am enjoyable way to help kids spend time away from those digital devices. By building the numbers, letters and shapes in this printable bundle, kids will be improving their finger and thumb control, an important skill that they will need for the rest of their lives. They will also be working on their number, shape and letter recognition as well as learning to count.
This Massive Building Brick Bundle contains:
- Building Block Uppercase Letter Cards
- Building Block Lowercase Letter Cards
- Building Block Shape Cards
- Building Block Counting to 100 Cards
Each pack consists of colour and black and white versions of each of the cards. Each set also has different activities such as coloring in the matching shape, finding and circling or crossing out the matching letter or number. If the cards have been laminated, children can use a small building block to cover the correct answers on the bottom of the cards.
The uppercase and lowercase letter cards consist of one card per letter of the alphabet, while the counting to 100 cards consists of one card for every number from 1 to 100. The Shape cards consist of a card for each of the following ten shapes: circle, rectangle, square, triangle, star, heart, pentagon, hexagon, rhombus, trapezoid.
The letters, numbers and shapes can be built directly onto the cards, or on a baseboard. They could also be built on a table in the correct alphabetical order or numerical order to help build counting and alphabetical skills.
