I am not ready to get my kids gardening yet. This is mainly because whenever I have tried even the simplest of plants, I pretty much destroy them. I will, however, keep these “get started gardening with kids” free printables handy for when I am ready.
I just have found the motivation to start my shot at developing a green thumb again. The other day my daughter, now that I have been interested in gardening again, said the funniest thing. Well, it wasn’t funny but it is funny what kids remember.
She asked if I remembered when I first started gardening nothing ever grew. She said, “Oh, and remember when you made use cut off the brown parts from your plants?!”
It discouraged me at first. Then I remember that parents can’t give up, we have to at least try. There are too many little eyes watching. Next seeds I plant will be with her and I will use these printables to help.
