I really wish I would have had this a year ago. Last year I want on my very first camping trip and this insight on how this family prepared for their first camping trip would have been lovely. Anyone who knows me would know that I do NOT like roughing it.
I now live an island, a second world country and I really think the Lord just has a HUGE sense of humor because the girl who hates the beach is now surrounded by one – everywhere.
Last year, a few families and mine had this GREAT idea to go camping. I mean, I never have been before but my husband is like survivor man and we would be on a secluded island. How hard could it be right? Well, it was horrendous. I didn’t let anyone know how I felt. I stood silent, a lot.
I just plainly wasn’t prepared. If you are planning on going on your very first camping trip or you messed up the first time and would like to redeem yourself, then stop by this post.
