If you are looking for a women’s bible study to do, this list of free bible studies for women will be a great place to look. I surely miss my women’s bible study group from years ago. There was nothing like it. It was a group of about 5 women strong with others that came and went. It was intense. We studied, prayed for each other, and straight talked God’s will, sovereignty, goodness, and Truth.
I grew, a few of us grew, more spiritually than ever before. I had known the Lord just a few years prior but if you could believe, no one ever told me I needed to read God’s Word for myself. I knew I could hear sermons and do bible studies with others, but they encouraged me to seek God’s Word on my own.
Two of the most beautiful women I ever knew led the bible study. They were Titus 2 women who literally, walked our Christian walk with us. They saw the good, the bad, the ugly, yet still pointed us to Christ – no matter how stubborn we were. Lord, what a blessing it was.
One of our lovelies has gone to be with the Lord since and we miss her every day.
If you are thinking of doing a Bible study on your own, with another Christian, or with a group, check out this list to give you an idea of where you can start. There is nothing like growing and being accountable to other Christians as we try to do this thing called life in His precious name.
A few of the women’s bible studies are:
- Kay Arthur’s Inductive Bible study
- Knowing Jesus, Knowing Joy: A Study of Philippians
- The 7 C’s of a Firm Foundation
- Missional Motherhood by Gloria Furman (current study)
