Things surely can be different after getting married. Sometimes couples forget to date altogether, even when remembering how much of a good time they had together. Dating was so much fun! Marriages are really, tough sometimes.
If your spouse is down for some date night fun, then try one of these 15 unusual date night ideas to spruce things up. What is funny was that I was JUST thinking the other day about my last date with the husband. It was a lunch date and our minds were so busy with life that we hardly talked.
There are a few key reasons why date nights are important in a marriage. Here are a few thing that come to mind:
- Work on communicating without distractions.
- Growing closer.
- Getting away from reality and every day stresses for a bit.
- Being a good example for children to see in a marriage.
- No cooking!
It would be nice to do somethings that purposefully keep our minds off stress and life and to having fun and working together for something totally random. Traditional date nights are cool and sometimes all that is possible, but once and while, throw a wrench in it all and try something out of the norm.
This post suggests one thing that I DO NOT like is working out together, LOL. My hubby is a work out maniac and I can’t keep up, but it does make him happy for me to tag along sometimes. I guess I will give it a try now and again.
