To me, there’s no better way to really learn about a subject, than through play. There’s just so much to learn from games; controlling emotions, team playing, sportsmanship, creativity, empathy, perseverance, and so much more.
When I began creating this Bible resource, I knew that I wanted it to be play-based, I just wasn’t sure exactly how it would come about. I threw around a few ideas, and nothing really “fit” the idea I was going for.
How do you encourage children to read their Bibles, study the scriptures, and be excited about it? And then that’s when I went back to my own childhood and knew where the Lord was leading me.
I remember driving the long road to my grandpa’s house and playing our own made up version of Bible Trivia. We would craft our own questions and see who could answer first, each taking turns asking and answering, providing supporting scripture.
We didn’t see how that game impacted our lives then, but looking back we were spending time as a family, edifying the Lord, feeding our Spirits, and enjoying the wholesome fun of Bible Trivia.
Even as kids, we were digging into the word to search for new questions and going back to some of those we heard before to freshen up. Sometimes just searching to prove someone wrong.
Either way it went, we were preparing for the next go-round by studying our Bibles and that was a huge impact in our own little lives.
Our Bible Trivia Game Kit ($15 value, now $7.50) includes:
- 54 printable pages for elementary and up
- 240 total questions, sorted by difficulty and labeled by categories: 40 level 1, 60 level 2, 110 level 3, and a bonus of 30 adult questions
An extra perk with our Bible Trivia Cards is that most questions include a reference scripture to encourage kids to study and seek out answers, stories, and relative information for themselves.
The best part about the game is that it can be played individually, or in a group. We’ve included multiple different ways to play on our instruction pages. Add Bible Trivia into your Game Night or even as a resource in your homeschool.
Once you finish, and have mastered each set of questions, encourage your kids to write their own trivia questions (with reference scriptures) to add to your game. That way, you’ll never run out of things to learn.
We’re only offering it for 50% off for a limited time! This offer expires on April 2nd, 2019 so get it while you can.
