I understand that winter isn’t the best for some of us. You might even want to throw a shoe at me if the screen and 7,000+ miles weren’t between us. I LOVE winter. I live on a tropical island, in a third world country. I know most of you think that is amazing. However, I come from the cold winter-laden climate of New York. Although even my own NY family thinks I am crazy, I always hated the beach. I also don’t like sweating or getting sunburnt. Woe is me right?

Winter time is my thing. I remember good memories in the winter as a child and maybe that is why I like it so much. Whether you like the winter or not, you still can learn to make the very best of it with your family. This post is full of ideas to make your winter a little more bearable and to help your kids learn about nature all around them.

The post shares a few things to encourage your kids to do while on their winter scavenger hunt:

1- Take note of all the animals around

2- See the beautiful landscape

3- Look up to the crisp sky

Then they may have a glimpse of how great creation is!
