Math takes a lot of practice to learn, and with learning math comes mistakes. For some children, they make lots and lots of mistakes. This can be quite frustrating, especially if they are careless mistakes, or mistakes made by rushing through so they can finish the lesson.
I love the advice from Math Geek Mama. She is so helpful and encouraging, she has a great list of 3 Types of math Mistakes and how to prevent them that you can use in your homeschool. These would be great to instill in our children while they are young and during math lessons to encourage them to be cautious while they are working. I know my children will love to prevent math mistakes so they don’t get a bad grade!
