Do you have a hard time to get all of the food groups into your little ones? Maybe you have a child that only wants to eat cheese and another that will only eat bananas and no other fruit at all. Sometimes, it can be so hard as a busy mom to make sure that all of our kids are getting a balanced meal and eating all of the groups.
This food group food sorting activity is a great way to get your children to visualize the food groups to be able to learn how many they need on their plates. As they play around with the cards and add food they like to eat to their plate they should be able to see if they are not getting enough from the other food groups. It’s such a great way to get our children thinking about food and making wise choices on what they put into their bodies as they are getting older.
