We had such an incredible response to our FREE Trace and Write – Creativity Prompts and Handwriting Practice for Early Learners that we launched in January that we decided to create a farm themed one.
You can find all sorts of free creative writing prompts, but you know me – I look for something specific and cannot find it, so I create it! My daughter LOVES to draw and I wanted her to be able to have fun themed writing prompts plus an area for her to draw it out and color it. I also wanted it to be simple with room for her to use her imagination.
Since she is in elementary, we are using the farm themed creative writing prompts for elementary students, but we wanted to also provide something for younger children as well.
We have created this pack to be used over the course of a month (one writing prompt per school day M-F), but it is totally flexible and includes a traceable short sentence for children who are not writing on their own yet, as well as a couple additional lines for students who want to write more. There is even a black and white illustration that can be colored near the drawing area. Your kids will love it!
