I had no idea that the white paper we use every day came from Ancient China around 100 BC. Papyrus and parchment were used before that, but not many people or kids know that. Your kids will really enjoy learning about this history and enjoy the Ancient Chinese papermaking activity. They will also see how the papermaking process hasn’t changed much over time and how China wanted to keep it all a secret. How interesting is that?
