I’ll be the first to admit I am not the best cook. Part of it is probably the fact that I never really cooked growing up. Part is likely due to the fact that I have never enjoyed most spices. And now it is completely due to the fact that while I could follow any recipe my family might want to try, but with all my allergies, I couldn’t taste it.
That being said, I do cook for my family. However, I try to find the easiest recipes possible. Cooking for a large family isn’t always easy and my philosophy is, “the less dishes, the better.” I mean, let’s face it…I’ll have enough to wash after the meal, so why make a meal that uses 15 items just to get it to the table.
Don’t get me wrong, I do believe there is a time and place for everything. I do, on occasion, make more elaborate meals for my family, but realistically I just don’t have the time every. single. day. That being said, sometimes you want a nice, tasty meal without all the fuss.
Enter sheet pan dinners. There is something to be said for simple. But no one wants to sacrifice taste for easy. And that’s what I love about these sheet pan dinners. Not only do they use just one pan, but they are packed full of flavor to satisfy those taste buds!
