I absolutely know that food dyes affect a child’s behavior. There are many instances that jump out at me that were enough to know. The most significant to me was when my attended preschool at a very young age and I was an inexperienced mom. His teacher asked me to come in one day and told me that if I didn’t do certain things to help my son, he would surely be recommended to get tested for ADD/ADHD. She simply told me to put him in bed early and keep away from food dyes, especially during the week. My son, was literally, a new child the next week and on.
