Podcasts can be a wonderful way to gain encouragement, wisdom and advice while still being able to get things done around the house at the same time!
My husband has been listening to podcasts for years and loves that he can get a ton of stuff done while he is listening. I was always wary of podcasts because I felt like I was tuning my kids out if I had headphones in my ears then I couldn’t hear what was going on! Now that they are older and more self-sufficient I am finding that listening to a podcast is a great way to get some quiet and words of encouragement into my long and busy days. It’s especially great during chore time!
If you put one headphone in you can still hear what’s going on around you and I think you can be more present than if you are sitting in front of a computer screen reading! Though I still enjoy my late night blog reading too!
