This list of age-appropriate chores for your pre-teen and teen kids are just what you need to set expectations in your home. As soon as I saw this post I had to share it, because it made me laugh-out-loud. I thought to myself, “My kids NEVER smile that big when they are doing chores!” The photo is like an oxymoron for my home. However, I get it. We can foster an environment where chores aren’t so much of a burden, but a contribution of being part of the family. If we truly stopped to evaluate the chores that we give our kids, we can see which are too much or just not quite right for their age group. This post helps us to pinpoint which chores are appropriate for our pre-teens and teens.
