My kids love to give gifts. They come by it honestly, I’ll admit. But with multiple children who have generous hearts, it can get rather expensive. Even though I’m not the craftiest person, my children love to create and make their gifts, which I love!
There are “holidays” for almost every day of the year. In fact, December 5th is Make a Gift Day, which is perfect timing for Christmas! Take a day off school work and make it a full-day event. Your kids will love getting to create their own gifts for those they love!
We encourage our children to use their imaginations and create what they want. Sometimes it is just a colored picture from one of their favorite coloring books. And sometimes its more elaborate. With Christmas quickly approaching, I gathered some DIY gift ideas that kids can make themselves. Of course, I always recommend parental supervision, but these can be done by themselves for the most part.
