Parents can learn to teach self-esteem with a biblical worldview in mind. This one is a hard one for me. How do we teach our kids their worth, when the Lord tells us we are but filthy rags? I know exactly the stuff that the Lord has brought me out of. Knowing that reminds me how faltered I really am, and how glorious He really is. However, with all the sadness in life at early ages, all the bullying, all the loneliness a child may feel, we have to learn how to teach confidence in Christ. It is easier said than done; I am sure. Read these seven ways to help your child build a healthy, Christ-honoring sense of self-esteem.
