Teaching children to respect others and not be a bully can be hard sometimes. Many times we don’t even realize what is going on with the children when we are all together in a homeschool group. We see our homeschool kids together, socializing so we assume it is all fine and dandy. However, that isn’t always the case. I didn’t know, until recently, that kids were being super mean to my daughter. We moved to a new country and the mosquitoes loved us when we came. My daughter ended up with scars all over her legs from scratching. My daughter is gorgeous, so I would have never known that kids would have clung to this flaw to make fun of her. It was, and still is, super tough. We can not control other kids, however we can start trying to make things better with our own.
