Can you believe September is just around the corner! We are officially 3/4 of the way through the year…that’s crazy! Many homeschoolers have started the new school year, but I know some of you are holding out until after Labor Day. That means you have a few more days of summer break to enjoy before the craziness of life takes over.
Aside from Labor Day, the only other major day to consider in September is the first day of Fall, which happens September 22nd this year. Before the cooler weather hits, you might want to take advantage of some of these Hot Dog Inspired recipes, enjoy a Macaroni Salad as summer winds down or jump straight to dessert with one of these Mouthwatering Poke Cake recipes.
There are two meal plans you can choose from – the regular meal plan with slow cooker meals on Sundays and Wednesdays and an Instant Pot Meal Plan. If you’d like to switch up some of the Slow Cooker Meals to an Instant Pot recipe, check out my beginners post in the series for a great link to help! This meal plan also includes grilled options on Friday nights to kick off your weekend!
On the Instant Pot Meal Plan, I have included some final Summer Meals with a variety of meats (fish, chicken, pork, beef), a few salads and the start of some amazing Fall meals come September 22nd! Also, the suggestions for breakfasts, lunches, snacks and desserts at the bottom are all Instant Pot recipes!
Feel free to move any of the recipes around as needed to fit your family’s schedule. You can even mix and match the two meal plans! There is a variety of meats (fish, chicken, beef, pork) as well as soups and salads (on both plans) to keep the whole family happy. My hope each month is that you will find some new favorites to add to your own must have rotation.
You can download each meal plan by clicking on the corresponding images below.
