If you’ve been homeschooling for more than a hot minute, you’ve probably heard the term “morning basket.” It’s a bit of a buzz word right now- and the entire concept is leaving some moms a bit confused or overwhelmed. There is a LOT of information available about the concept of “morning basket” or “circle time” or “basket time”- but the actual specifics available are lacking desperately.
We’ve enjoyed a morning basket of some type for several years now- well before the phrase was even coined. In our home, “morning basket” has morphed and adapted to fit our growing family and ever-changing needs. We have 4 children- two of whom are in middle and high school and two still in diapers. Because of the large age gap, I began creating a full year of plans including all printables in advance of our school year. When I finished collecting our resources this year and creating our morning time binders, I thought others may appreciate having access to something that’s ready for them to print and use.
If you’ve been looking and researching, attempting to learn everything you can about this entire “morning basket” thing, you’ll want to head over to Life, Abundantly. I’ve created a collection of excellent resources, a list of Frequently Asked Questions, plus I’ve shared our FULL, printable plan for this upcoming school year.
