There might be some things you should consider wearing as a homemaker. When looking at the Proverbs 31 woman, you could conclude that for someone who cared so much about leading a productive life, neglecting her personal appearance would have been contradictory to everything else she believed in.
This post was a hard one for me to read. It was hard because I do not feel beautiful most of the time. I also spent years of my marriage in sweat sand a t-shirt. It did have an effect on me and now I try to be more conscious about my appearance. Many people might not agree, but feeling beautiful makes a big difference. I feel myself falling back in that rut, so this post really helped me.
