I don’t know about your children, but mine have always loved learning about the Colonial time period. When studying this time period in history, there are so many activities, craft, and learning opportunities you can incorporate into your studies. We have used Living in Colonial Times – A Notebooking Journey to accompany our living book history study of Colonial times in our homechool.
Our favorite Colonial America activities came with the Time Travelers Series. We made so many hand-on, fun projects (and I am NOT a crafty mama!)
