For much of the United States, summer has officially started. School is out, warmer weather has arrived and kids are busy playing the days away. If you’re like me, that also means you get a little lazy on the meal prep and just throw things together as you can. This summer I would like to be more intentional and enjoy meals with my family, rather than in shifts. And having a meal plan in place certainly helps!
The entire month of June is National Iced Tea Month, so be sure to check out these Refreshing Iced Tea recipes to try! June 3rd is National Egg Day, so these Egg Salad Recipes are a great way to celebrate. And don’t forget Father’s Day! These BBQ & Grilling recipes or these Seafood Grilled recipes are sure to be a hit with Dad this year!
Below you will find two meal plans. On the regular meal plan, slow cooker meals remain on Sundays and Wednesdays or for those times you need a meal ready-to-eat. If you’d like to switch up some of the Slow Cooker Meals to an Instant Pot recipe, check out my beginners post in the series for a great link to help! This meal plan also includes grilled options on Friday nights to kick off your weekend!
On the Instant Pot Meal Plan, I have included some delicious Summer Meals, a variety of meats (fish, chicken, pork, beef), a few salads and more! Also, the suggestions for breakfasts, lunches, snacks and desserts at the bottom are all Instant Pot recipes!
Feel free to move any of the recipes around as needed to fit your family’s schedule. You can even mix and match the two meal plans! There is a variety of meats (fish, chicken, beef, pork) as well as soups and salads (on both plans) to keep the whole family happy. My hope each month is that you will find some new favorites to add to your own must have rotation.
