The free Problem Solving Assessment Pack includes two tests, a pretest and a posttest, which were designed to help you assess your students’ math problem-solving abilities. The pretest will help give you an idea of where to start teaching problem solving instruction. The posttest will help you track their progress later. I really enjoy these free pages as they require your learner to draw pictures to show how they are solving the problems. You’ll be amazed at what you can learn from those pictures. I remember having the most difficulty with problem solving as a child. I wa sin public school so I had to either keep up or just get by. I just got by, but you don’t have to do that in homeschool. Use these to help your child understand what they are learning.
