If you have a teen that isn’t old enough to get a real steady paying job yet, they are probably wanting help in figuring out how they can start making some extra money.
I remember when my son was actively looking for work. It was when unemployment was at a record high and adults were applying for any position that they could find, including jobs at fast food restaurants and grocery stores. He was getting quite discouraged because no one would hire him. This was a tough time as we didn’t have a lot of extra money to give him for allowance or odd jobs around the house either. It was important for him to work and to earn his own money. We prayed, and God provided lots of odd jobs around town like dog sitting, pulling weeds, mowing lawns, house sitting etc… He finally did get a great job at our local grocery store, but for awhile there we needed to help him and encourage him with ideas to help him make some money.
I love this post from Faith Gateway that gives you tips and helpful suggestions on how you can be creative in helping your teen make some money. You can read more about it HERE.
