Snail Pace Transformation is sharing with readers 100 ways thrifty people can save money- plus 3 actions you can take today to save money. I think I may have been posting a lot about being thrifty or saving money lately. I hope you don’t mind.
The country where I recently moved to just had a Category 4 Tropical Cyclone (Equivalent to a Category 4 Hurricane). It has really put many things into perspective. I have no electricity/power in my home and only have running water on a faucet outside. To say the least, things have been super tough. I can write for hours about what we are going through or what people we know have been going through. Aside from the tough times which God promises we will go through, this time has showed me that I really and truly can live without.
I am reading Ecclesiastes and one of the verses which really helped me is the following:
Ecclesiastes 7:14
Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life.
We certainly can live without things and do things to help our family in being more frugal. I am super excited to go through these thrifty ways to save money. There are things around us we can do to save and learn to live without. Things don’t mean a thing in the long run. Be encouraged in whatever situation you are in. God is faithful and sovereign over it all.
