The Middle School years can be very difficult for our tweens and teens socially. In the homeschooling community it can be hard to get our kids connected as they may be shy or nervous to meet other teens.

I am always looking for some fun group activities that will engage my middle schoolers and encourage them to make friendships. Teach Them Diligently has a great article on simple group activities that middle school kids will enjoy. These are also fairly simple to set up and can include all ages if siblings need to attend.
