One of the most important life skills that we need to teach our preschoolers is their phone number and address. This is something I always start teaching at the beginning of the school year and usually when they are about 3 years old.
Learning a phone number can be a little tricky sometimes with so many numbers to remember and in the correct order. It is so important to teach them how to be able to recite their phone number in case of an emergency, or if they get lost! There are many different activities that can help your little ones memorize their phone number. Encouraging Moms at Home has five fun and engaging ways to help teach your little ones their phone number. There are free printables and games and hands-on activities.
Your kids will have a blast playing and learning their phone number. You can grab these free printables and ideas HERE.
