Curating an excellent collection of books for our families can be quite the task when you take everything into consideration like age appropriate content, beautiful illustrations, excellent vocabulary, the moral value of the story, and the interest level.
Because there are literally MILLIONS of books to choose from- how do we know which ones are the BEST for our family? Here’s a helpful (and FREE!) resource. This list has been curated by two women who love Jesus, have been homeschooling for a combined 13 years, and have 4 children each. Each of these books has been read by at least one of us, most of them many times, to all of our children. They had to stand the test of being engaging, beautiful and good, and educational (for the most part!). These 107 books were what we both agreed upon to share with you!
Many book lists are designed for young readers or children over the age of 5 who are listening to short chapter books. While this list includes a few of those, the bulk of them are geared toward toddlers and young preschoolers who have a desire for beautiful illustrations and have shorter attention spans. It includes many classics, some new favorites, reference books, biographies, and more.
