Help your children build their engineering literacy with another fun engineering unit study. These are perfect to do once a week for STEM enrichment and science activities. They would also work great in a co-op setting.
We are loving the free engineering unit studies that are offered from Engineering is Elementary. Liftoff: Engineering Rockets and Rovers is a free 8 week curriculum that covers Aerospace Engineering. Your upper elementary students will follow a story of characters as they engineer rockets and rovers to to explore several moons and planets that are in our Solar System. This would be a great activity to supplement a unit study on outerspace as well.
You can download this free unit study with lesson plans, teacher guide and an engineering journal HERE.
