I love teaching about the lunar cycles and the different phases of the moon. The moon is so fascinating. We camp and go to the beach often and have seen some amazing moons in their different cycles. It’s fun to learn about the different phases and call them out when we see them on our outings.
I found some fun and creative hands on activities to help your kids learn and remember the different phases of the moon. There are also some free information card printables from Growing Curious Minds to go along with the different activities. These cards have all 8 moon phases with information about each phase.
You can grab all the details of the fun learning activities, with the free printable cards HERE.
