Happy New Year! I can’t believe we have left 2017 behind and 2018 is here already. Much of last year was a blur for our family with lots of changes and transitions, but meal plans have kept us on track many weeks. If you have never followed a meal plan, they are wonderful for so many reasons – saving money, saving time and just to have a plan in place on those busy nights.
Just like last month, I have created two meal plans. On the regular meal plan, I kept slow cooker meals on Sundays and Wednesdays for those times you need a meal ready-to-eat. If you’d like to switch up some of the Slow Cooker Meals to an Instant Pot recipe, check out my beginners post in the series for a great link to help! With winter arriving across much of North America, I have lots of warm, comforting soups.
As for the Instant Pot Meal Plan, I have also included some 15-minute and 30-minute IP meal options there as well. Also, the suggestions for breakfasts, lunches, snacks and desserts are all Instant Pot recipes.
Feel free to move any of the recipes around as needed to fit your family’s schedule. You can even mix and match the two meal plans! There is a variety of meats (fish, chicken, beef, pork) as well as soups and salads (on both plans) to keep the whole family happy. My hope each month is that you will find some new favorites to add to your own must have rotation. Once again I have included some quick and easy Breakfast, Lunch, Snack and Dessert ideas to help you throughout the month.
