So if you have been reading some of my posts, you will know that I now live outside of the United States (I miss the U.S. so much, but that’s besides the point). Living in a country with very few options for ingredients, has made me dive into searching recipes that I can actually make here. We are always on the look out for recipes from other families who usually just have discovered the best way of making things through trial and error.
I find myself going to someone’s house for dinner and just asking, “tell me how you made this”, then jotting it down on a notepad. We have had to use printed recipe cards to gather the recipes because, well, we need a way of saving them. So, this is the reason I use recipe cards. Mom Makes Joy has shared some interesting other reasons to use recipe cards that I think you will enjoy. I love being able to share with my other mom friends a nice and neat recipe card to bless them, like they bless me with their recipes.
